I am 40 something years old.  Born in Missouri but moved to Mississippi in the 7th grade. Went to Ole Miss from 1982-1986 and then stayed in Mississippi for Medical school from 86-90.

My last year of medical school I met and married Elizabeth Wyatt, a local ophthalmologist and one of the owners of Mona Spa.

After a Family Medicine Internship in Memphis, TN, I finished my residency back in Jackson, Ms in 1993.

From there, Elizabeth and I moved to Augusta, GA for her to do her residency. We moved from there in 2000 after 6 successful years in primary practice. We loved Augusta, (and yes, I played The National), but we felt compelled to get back to this area, so we moved to Memphis for 3 years before finally making it back to Jackson in 2003, where we will stay until retirement. We had our only child, Kallen Elizabeth in 2002. She is the reason I do everything I do.

I have been working with MEA since then and up until now. Kallen told me she wanted me to have my own office, "like Momma", so this is my next venture.

In March of 07 I became interested in acupuncture and in December, I completed 9 month course on medical acupuncture taught by the most renowned physician acupuncturist in the country, Dr. Joseph Helms.

I have decided to take this acupuncture as well as my family medicine background and institute a very "different" way of treating patients that has not been invoked in Jackson as far as I know. I am at the spa daily doing acupuncture as well as Botox and dermal filler injections. Its fun to see happy clients & it's a beautiful place to practice!
