Soles4Souls is a Nashville-based charity that collects shoes from the warehouses of footwear companies and the closets of people like you. The charity distributes these shoes to people in need, regardless of race, religion, class, or any other criteria. Since 2005, Soles4Souls has delivered over 16 million pairs of new and gently worn shoes. The shoes have been distributed to people in over 127 countries, including Kenya, Thailand for the Tsunami, Nepal and the United States including Hurricane Katrina.

 Soles4Souls has been featured in Runner's World, Ladies’ Home Journal, National Geographic’s Green Guide, and The New York Times. It has appeared on CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX, BBC, CNN and thousands of regional news outlets across North America.

My Goal of $3800 by Dec. 18, 2011

About a few months, I sat down and started to think about how blessed I have been this past year. After a very overwhelming realization, I decided to use my volunteer vacation time in service to those who have been less fortunate. I will be attending the Soles4Souls trip to Tanzania to shoe orphans, some who may have never even owned a single pair their whole life.

I have committed myself to raise $3800 in donations to Soles4Souls before attending this trip. Your donations, no matter how big or small, have such a huge impact. Help me raise this money for orphans who won't take their new kicks for granted!
