In addition to being Mona’s CMC, Dr. Wallace is also Chief of Plastic Surgery and Program Director for the residency program at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Wallace is very active in medical education through lecturing, writing, and teaching the principles of plastic surgery. His writing includes articles for medical journals and textbooks. He is also active in the American Society of Plastic Surgery which is responsible for the training curriculum for plastic surgeons. Dr. Wallace is recognized as a leader in his field and has been a featured speaker and lecturer throughout the country as well as internationally including China and Brazil. While active as an educator, Dr. Wallace's first love and foremost commitment is the practice “beauty” not sure what beauty is or why it is here.. Several times a year, Dr. Wallace attends and presents scientific meetings and continuing medical education courses across the country to remain on the cutting edge of all the latest techniques and procedures.
